There is a moment, after awareness and alignment where everything becomes very clear. And still nothing moves.
You know what is true about you. And yet… You hesitate.
The Hidden Expectation
Many women reach this point and think:
“I just need a little more confidence” or “A bit more clarity.”, “Maybe one more step of preparation.”
But underneath that… there’s an expectation: “I should feel ready before I move.”
And that expectation quietly keeps you in the same place.
The Illusion of Readiness
We’ve been taught that confidence comes first. But real growth doesn’t work that way.
Confidence is not the starting point, it’s the result.
You act and then something inside you starts to shift.
The Inner Impostor at This Stage
At this point, the Inner Impostor may still be there. It might sound like:
“Are you sure?” , “What if this goes wrong?” or “Maybe you should wait a bit more”
And this is where the real crossing happens, because now you have a choice: Wait for the voice to go silent or move… even with it present
A Different Definition of Action
Action is not a big, dramatic move, a moment of certainty or a fearless decision
Action, in this crossing, is much simpler. It’s:
- speaking when you would normally stay quiet
- deciding when you would normally delay
- showing up when you would normally hold back
Small, intentional movements.
Perfection and Control
Perfection and control often feel like strength, but many times, they are just refined ways of avoiding risk, delaying exposure or protecting yourself from discomfort and quietly limiting your growth.
The Shift That Changes Everything
The shift is not: “I feel confident, so I will act.”
The shift is: “I will act even if I don’t feel fully ready.”
When you take action the fear doesn’t disappear immediately, the voice may still be there. But something else starts to grow:
For example, you start noticing that you can handle it, you can move through discomfort and you can trust yourself. And that becomes your new foundation.
This Is The Bridge
Awareness showed you the pattern, Alignment reconnected you with truth and Action is what creates movement.
If you’ve been following this journey at The Bridge, this is your moment to take one step forward. And if you want to explore more deeply now,

Exercise 1 — One Aligned Move
Objective:
Take one intentional action you’ve been delaying
Step 1 – Identify the moment
Think of one situation where you are/were overthinking, waiting to feel ready or trying to perfect before acting. Keep it real and current.
Step 2 – Define ONE small action
Not a big leap. Just a step.
Examples:
- Share your idea in a meeting
- Send the message you’ve been delaying
- Decide you already have enough information for …
- Stop overpreparing and move forward
Step 3 – Set your intention
Before acting, pause and say:
“The voice can come with me, but it’s not deciding.”
Step 4 – Do it
No extra preparation. No overthinking. Just move.
Exercise 2 — Build Evidence of Self-Trust
Objective: Strengthen confidence through lived experience
After your action, reflect:
- What happened?
- Was it as risky as the voice suggested?
- What did this show me about myself?
Then anchor the learning:
Complete this sentence:
“Today I proved to myself that I can ______ even when I feel ______.”
Examples:
“I can speak up even when I feel uncertain”
“I can decide even when I don’t feel 100% ready”
“I can move forward even when I feel doubt”
Closing Reflection
Confidence is not what you wait for. It’s what you build, one action at a time.
